This Cookie Policy explains how JOURE Perfume (“JOURE”, “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the joureperfume.com website. Our aim is to be transparent about what data is collected when you visit the site and how you can manage your preferences. This document forms an integral part of our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser when you visit a website. Cookies are used for things such as remembering your preferences, keeping your session active and measuring how the site is used. Our site also uses your browser’s local storage (localStorage) in a similar way; for example, your cookie consent choice is saved there.
Our site uses three categories of cookies. Essential cookies are always on; analytics and marketing cookies are loaded only with your explicit consent.
joure_consent (stored in your browser’s localStorage), which records your cookie consent choice, as well as language preference and session information. This data is not used for marketing. The first time you visit our site you will see a cookie consent banner where you set your preference:
Your choice is saved in your browser, so you will not see the banner on every visit. You can change your preference at any time: click the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer to reopen the consent banner and update your choice.
If you give consent, analytics and marketing cookies may be set by the following third parties, whose own privacy policies apply:
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Party | Category | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| joure_consent | Stores your cookie consent choice | Persistent (localStorage) | JOURE | Essential | In use |
| _ga | Distinguishes visitors (Google Analytics) | 2 years | Analytics | In use | |
| _ga_<ID> | Persists session state (GA4) | 2 years | Analytics | In use | |
| _fbp | Ad measurement and remarketing (Meta Pixel) | 3 months | Meta | Marketing | Not yet in use |
| _fbc | Matches an ad click (Meta Pixel) | 3 months | Meta | Marketing | Not yet in use |
| _ttp | Ad measurement and remarketing (TikTok Pixel) | 13 months | TikTok | Marketing | Not yet in use |
| _tt_enable_cookie | Enables the TikTok Pixel’s use of cookies | 13 months | TikTok | Marketing | Not yet in use |
When you do not allow cookies, Google Analytics sends limited measurement signals without using cookies and without identifying you. These signals measure overall trends such as total visits, not individual visitors.
Note: the durations above are the providers’ standard values and may change over time. Tools marked “Not yet in use” are not running on our site at present; if we enable them later they will load only with your consent. We list them now for transparency.
Content crawlers operated by services such as ChatGPT and Google (for example GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot) may read the publicly available pages of our site. These crawlers are programs: they do not set cookies in your browser, do not identify you and do not collect your personal data. They only read the text and images we publish; they cannot access information you send us through a form. For this reason they do not appear in the cookie list above.
You can also manage, delete or block cookies through your browser settings. However, if you block essential cookies, some parts of the site may not work properly. For browser-specific instructions, please refer to your browser’s help pages.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page; the “Last updated” date at the top indicates the version in force.
